This panel will show a lot of information you need to know to finish a mission. Pay attention to mission objectives as this tell what you need to do. Finishing any of these objectives will earn yourself money. Once all of those objectives are finished, mission is considered finished and computer will calculate the score.

100 score is considered a benchmark number so anything below it mean you are doing things slowly. You need to do things much faster to gain higher score.

For campaign game, its not required to finish the mission in single attempt. If any sector proves too hard for your squad, you can retreat and recontinue the mission later. There's no penalty to mission score as mission timer will be paused when you leave the sector and reactivated when you reenter the sector later.

For scenario game, you must finish the mission in single attempt. Be careful with custom operative. As this operative represents you, getting him/her killed surely forced you of the game.
