NPC TYPE

Non hostile NPC is NPC you can talk to. Hostile NPC is your enemy. All of these details are taken from version 0.89 game so if you play older version, your mileage may vary.

Explosive Soldier (Hostile NPC)

Explosive soldier provides support to the soldier so they're not hard to handle as they attack using shotgun or Sub Machine Gun (SMG). They might carry TNT explosive. They can usually be found indoor.

Medical Soldier (Hostile NPC)

Medical soldier provides medical support to the soldier. They're the weakest part of the soldier as most of them are young and they attack using pistol. They might carry painkiller shots. They can usually be found indoor.

Infantry Soldier (Hostile NPC)

Infantry soldier is the typical force with better combat skills, better armour and might use night vision goggle to give them the edge. They attack using SMG or assault rifle. They might carry grenades. They can usually be found outdoor patrolling certain area.

Elite Soldier (Hostile NPC)

Elite soldier is highly experienced soldier with excellent combat skill, excellent armour and they use night vision goggle. They attack using assault rifle or sniper rifle. They might carry grenades. Usually used as sniper, they usually sits at rooftop or higher elevation.

Soldier Commander (Hostile NPC)

You only meet a few of them as they are the boss for the soldier. They are basically an elite soldier. If you're curious, it is possible to talk to them just to listen to their nasty sarcasm. They can usually be found at control room, the room with lots of computers and big screen TV.

Gangster (Hostile NPC)

Sometimes the soldier hire some gangsters to guard an important place to prevent rebel from taking advantage of the place. Gangster are relatively weak opponents as they are using weak armour and they attack using SMG. They might carry fuel bomb and some of them are known to carry cigarette - a rare item considering it is being banned for several years.

Fanatic (Hostile NPC)

Fanatic, inspired by survival way of life devotes themselves to the art of combat. The biggest fanatic group, Red Head is troublesome to many people as they end up fighting anybody anywhere anytime they want. Individually they're weak as they're using weak armour and attack using machete.

What makes them powerful is they attack in group. The soldier usually put them in an important place to prevent rebel from taking advantage of the place. They might carry painkiller shots, meth or testosterone pills.

Evil Scientist (Hostile NPC)

Evil scientist can only be referred to scientist who join Cult of Tech Wizards, a dark cult which dabbles in genetic engineering. Thousands of involuntary test subjects had become victims to their crazy experiments.

Despite their bloody practice, they are relatively weak. They can't shoot which mean they use some sort of melee weapon for their self-defense. The soldier put them in a secluded place to carry out experiments.

Guard (Hostile NPC)

Guard is usually hired to protect some place. They're not hard to handle as their body armour isn't strong and they attack using hunting rifle.

Cultist (Hostile NPC)

There are plenty of dark cults and one of them, Cult of Dark Blood sacrifices a victim for evil spirit and then drink the blood to make them stronger. The cultist is deadly because most of them are veteran cultists who've been with the cult for a long time. So they're highly experienced in combat.

Nevertheless, their armour isn't strong and they attack using shotgun. They might carry a dagger. Many people mistakenly assume they are vampire as the cultists can often be found near cemetery or big spooky mansion. Since cultists are usually surrounded by unseen evil spirit, do not try to get close to them as this might weaken your morale.

Guerilla (Non-hostile NPC)

Guerilla is person who volunteer to join the Alliance to fight the soldier. Unfortunately, they're not as tough as the soldier as their body armour isn't strong and they attack using hunting rifle. Although they're lacking in combat skill, they have high spirit as their combat skill can improve significantly if they survive encounter with soldier.

They might carry smoke canister or stun grenade. They can usually found at the Alliance base.

Miner (Non-hostile NPC)

Not much to talk about as they populate mines during daylight.

Worker (Non-hostile NPC)

Not much to talk about as they populate factories during daylight.

Prisoner (Non-hostile NPC)

At some places guarded by enemy, you'll meet prisoner. Talk to them to find out what's going on. Once you've finished the mission in the sector, the prisoners will leave the place.

Town Councillor (Non-hostile NPC)

Town councillor usually gives mission to destroy cult/group or rescuing someone. Talk to them about the mission to make sense out of it. They can usually be found at the Alliance base during daylight.

Tycoon (Non-hostile NPC)

Tycoon usually gives mission to get rid the soldiers from mine or factory. They owns the mine or factory before the soldiers forcefully take control of the place. They can usually found at the Alliance base during daylight.

Chief of the Alliance Base (Non-hostile NPC)

They usually gives mission to raid soldier's place or launch an attack to soldier's command centre. These missions earn some money to the Alliance and give a boast to the Alliance control. They can usually found at the Alliance base all the time.

Doctor (Non-hostile NPC)

Doctor sells and buys medical supplies. They can usually found at the Alliance base during daylight.

Weapon Specialist (Non-hostile NPC)

Weapon specialist sells and buys weapons and explosives. They can usually found at the Alliance base during daylight.

Tailor (Non-hostile NPC)

Tailor sells and buys jackets and pants. They can usually found at the Alliance base during daylight.
