GAMEPLAY DETAILS
Training Game
There are 3 game modes - training, campaign and scenario game. When you first playing the game, choose training game mode as it gives you step by step instruction on how to play the game. Follow the instruction until you have managed to kill your first enemy. Then, you can continue the mission or choose to play campaign game.
Campaign Game
Campaign game is the primary game mode for the game. You'll carry out 18 non-linear missions. Your squad has a complete freedom to go to any valid sector within town to carry out mission. In line with the concept of guerilla warfare, if any sector proves too hard for your squad, you can retreat and recontinue the mission later.
Campaign game can only be played in solo (single player). Player can save the game at any time.
When you click campaign game in Main Menu Panel, you'll go to Select Campaign Panel to choose which campaign you want to carry out. Currently you can only play a campaign called South East Liberation. More campaign will be addded later. Once you have chosen your campaign, you'll go to Start Campaign Panel to assemble your squad. This involves:
1) Read the campaign briefing.
2) Create custom operative which will represent you.
3) Hire any operatives that you like.
4) Select game difficulty.
Once you've completed the process, your squad will be automaticaly transported to the Alliance base.
Scenario Game
For a much shorter gameplay and you want to have some serious challenges, scenario game allows you to carry out a mission taken from campaign game. You must finish it and you can't save the game. Currently scenario game can only be played in solo. There could be possibility to play scenario game through multiplayer LAN or Internet in the future.
When you click scenario game in Main Menu Panel, you'll go to Select Scenario Panel to choose which mission you want to carry out. Once you have chosen your mission, you'll go to Start Scenario Panel to assemble your squad. This involves:
1) Create custom operative which will represent you.
2) Hire any operatives that you like.
3) Select which time to carry out the mission, game difficulty and entry point.
4) Equip the squad with weapons and ammunition.
Once you've completed the process, your squad will be automaticaly transported to the battlefield.
What's Happened in the Base?
When you start the campaign game, your squad will start from the Alliance base. The base is usually located underground so you have to climb downstairs. There's plenty of stuff you can do at the base:
1) Equip your squad with weapon and ammunition. The Alliance has given you a cabinet full of weapon and ammunition to use it to equip your squad.
2) Buy more weapon, ammunition, drug and armour from traders at the base.
3) Talk to several persons you can find at the base. They will tell you something about missions that you will carry out.
4) Deposit any coin money that you have to coin machine at the base. The money will be credited to your account so you don't have to carry lots of coin money!
5) Let some of your tired or injured operative to take a rest. They will sleep to replenish any lost energy or health point. Make sure you accelerate the time - every second in the game time will accelerate to a minute.
6) Once you've equipped your squad, you can use Town Map Panel to choose which sector to go to carry out your mission. Your squad will walk to the battlefield by foot.
What's Happened in the Battlefield?
Once your squad is in battlefield, there's plenty of action you can do. All actions are performed in real time. However if you access several management panels such as Tactics, Squad or Map Panel, the game will automatically paused.
1) Give orders to your operative to change stances, movement speed, turning and the way they use weapon on their hand. You can order them to interact with many objects in the game world such as enemy, NPC, door, cabinet/desk, stairs/ladder, fence, item on ground and empty ground.
2) Manage inventory carried by your operatives.
3) Assign tactics for each of your operatives.
4) Manage every aspects of operatives, missions and campaign.
5) Retreat to the base if the battle is too tough for your squad. This option is only available for campaign game.
6) Once the battle is over and mission is finished, you can sell any item carried by the dead enemies to Lady Junk. This way you don't have to carry lots of items to the base to sell it to traders. This option is only available for campaign game. This option is only available on version 0.89 so don't forget to upgrade your game to the latest version!
7) Once the battle is over and mission is finished, you must dispose all dead bodies in the game level before you are given the permission the leave the sector. This option is only available on version 0.89.
8) Change game option such as automatic actions or automatic pause.
